Helen Louise Wilson Holcombe Fincher
It is with great sorrow and grief, the family of Helen Louise Wilson Holcombe Fincher are mourning her loss. Helen was born to Doris and Lee Wilson in New York on October 5, 1935. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home announcing.
Helen’s life was filled with love for her family and hard work. She loved to do arts and crafts, grow flowers, paint pictures and write books about her life. She was very creative and gifted. She also had a great love of animals and a special bond with her faithful dog, Jasper. Helen lived most of her adult life in the Gadsden/Hokes Bluff area. She worked as a bookkeeper all her life. She had a servant heart and was loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Helen and Bonnie Harold Fincher shared many loving memories together and celebrated their 42nd anniversary on October 10, 2018 the day of her death.
She is preceded in death by her brother: Charlie Wilson.
She is survived by two sisters: Roberta Halden and Betty Dowd; children: Nedra (Phil) Holcombe Hundley and Carol (Ronny) Holcombe Lockhart; step-children: Danny (Kim) Fincher and Sharon Simmons; grandchildren: Sylina Norman Reaves, Elizabeth (Stephen) Taylor, Roxanne “Roxie” Lockhart, Stephanie “Stevie” Lockhart, Phillip Hundley, Nathanial Hundley, Wes Simmons, Ben Fincher, Danny “Little Danny” Fincher; great-grandchildren: Preston, Makayla, Olivia and Richard.
