Patricia Flowers Baker answered the Lord’s call on March 19, 2019 after 73 years of life. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Chapel. The family will accept visitors one hour prior to the funeral and Pastor Mike Howard will officiate. Ms. Baker will be interred at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. She was a lifelong resident of Webster’s Chapel.
The Peanut Brittle Queen, Patricia always made sure those around her didn’t go hungry. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Church and good food was the blessing Patsy passed on to us all. She was a mother to many and a friend to many more. Known for her individual style, she was deeply loved by those who knew her.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Baker, her parents, Cason and Berlin Flowers, and one brother, Jimmy Flowers. She is survived by two brothers, Tommy Flowers, Phillip Flowers (Brenda), 3 nieces Casie Nation (Chris), Marie Flowers- Heuer (Tate), Suzanne Worthy (Tommy), and 2 nephews, Shane Flowers (Nikole) and Randy Flowers. Pallbearers will be members of her church family.
The family wishes to express its gratitude to Pastor Rodney Gilmore and Comfort Care Hospice—Makenzie, Karen, Emily, Terri. A very special thanks goes to Sharon Wagner, Patricia’s caregiver. Ms. Sharon not only cared for Patricia in her last months but also became her very best friend.
