Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday October 19, 2017 for Ms. Willadean “Fay” Warren who died peacefully at Houston Medical Center on October 15, 2017, in Warner Robins, GA at the age of 81. Bro Bruce Jenkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Young’s Chapel cemetery. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home & Cemetery is in charge of the services.
Fay Warren was born on September 11, 1936, in Piedmont, AL to John Paul “Shorty” Warren and Burnice Jarutha Estes. She graduated from Ider High School in 1954, a member of the National Beta Club. After moving to Florida in the late 50s, she began working for Morrison’s Cafeteria and sustained a career as an outstanding bookkeeper and accountant until she retired, where after she continued working part time as a church nursery worker nurturing young children, her real passion. She was a member of University Carillon United Methodist Church in Oviedo, Fl.
She is preceded in death by her father John Paul “Shorty” Warren, mother Burnice Jarutha Warren, brother Charles Warren, and sister Shelby Deen.
She is survived by her son Tom Adams, daughter-in-law Teresa Adams, grandson Nick (Page) Adams, great grandson Parson Adams, and great granddaughter Maggie Adams, as well as her siblings Jerry Warren, Bill Warren and Judy Swearingen and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in honor of Fay Warren to the Bartow Family Resources Center 200 Leake Street, Cartersville, GA 30120, to encourage others to Choose Life.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
