Mary Virginia “Ginger” Hill
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday December 22, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church for Mary Hill age, 71, of Hokes Bluff who passed away on December 19, 2017. Brother Robert (Toasty) Brown will officiate. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery, Pansey, Al. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home and Cemetery is in charge of services.
She was a graduate of Ashford High School. She was manager of the Coffee Kettle in Dothan, Alabama for 12 years she was also manager of Western Sizzlin for 4 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Millard “Max” Deese; mother & father Mary Lee and Johnny Jackson Cochran; sister; Velender Appling; brother-in-law; Ellis Appling
She is survived by her daughter; Cindy and son-in-law Toasty Brown; granddaughter who she loved dearly; Gracie Brown; brother; Johnny (Melinda) Cochran; special nephews and family; Jimmy (Tanya) Appling and Ellis Appling Jr.; several nieces & nephews and special family friend ; Arrica Bell.
Pallbearers will be Family and friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Sanders, Dr. Kaleem, Dr. Homan, Dr. Hwang and doctors, nurses and staff of ICU, CCU at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Family will receive friends Thursday at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral home in Gadsden from 5pm to 7pm and Friday at the church in Pansy, Al. from 12 to 2 pm.
